Insert Part
The Insert Part function enables you to insert a fitting into an existing raceway by cutting an existing raceway and inserting the fitting.
Select a raceway component and fitting to insert. The possible fittings for the selected system are listed in the dialog box.
Note: Fitting placement is
automatically locked along the axis of the raceway run for precise placement.
| Setting | Description |

| Raceway Layout | The Raceway Layout section displays how the selected raceway is currently configured. |
| Fitting | Select an option from the list to insert into the selected run. The parameters for the fitting are displayed in the Part section. |
| Part | Define the parameters for the selected fitting using the fields in this section. |
| Preview | Provides a preview of how the raceway configuration displays in the model. |
| OK | Select to insert the fitting into the selected run. |
| Cancel | Cancels the command and closes the dialog. |
Select point for insertion, then select the insertion point for the part (use AccuDraw options).

| Flip | This allows the swapping of the beginning and the end of the selection. |
| Cursor Position | Allows you to change the insertion point. |
The new fitting is inserted into the existing raceway run.
